Grandeur: A State-of-the-Art Legacy of Residential Life

The Grandeur project, designed by Chin-An Yang, is a testament to the fusion of oriental delicacy and modern simplicity. With meticulous attention to detail, the original layout was overhauled to create a state-of-the-art legacy of residence. The designer's inspiration from the natural landscapes is evident in the artful paintings that simulate the beauty of nature in the living room. Additionally, the wooden-layered ceiling in the dining room brings a warm and inviting ambiance.

The unique properties of the Grandeur design lie in its decorative adornments. The layered concepts are beautifully manifested throughout the space. The plain wood floors in the living and dining room showcase the exquisite quality, while the extensive white walls adorned with American-style moldings exude a dignified surface. The TV wall, made of white marble, displays consistent colors, and the contrasting textures of matt and gloss finishes create distinct visual effects.

The realization of the Grandeur design is a testament to advanced technology and craftsmanship. The glass sliding doors between the public area and study room perceptibly extend the indoor space, while the black wrought iron frames diffuse oriental charisma. The harmonious aura is intensified by the unsophisticated lines of the sliding doors, which coordinate with the white wall moldings. The meticulous adornments, encompassing the ceilings, walls, vistas, lighting accessories, and illuminations, speak for the dedicated craftsmanship.

The Grandeur project, located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, was completed in April 2017. The design team, led by Chin-An Yang, including YANG CHIN AN and TAI YT-HSUAN, faced various challenges during the creative process. The applications of decoration materials required a delicate balance between aesthetic compositions and environmental protections. Through innovative experiments and the integration of technology and lifestyle, the design works achieved uniqueness and originality. The result is a comprehensive demonstration of design skills and aesthetics.

The Grandeur design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Grandeur design stands out for its integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and contribution to a better world.
